Snowshoe Camp is a 4-season housekeeping style resort located on the scenic
Wakomata Lake. This lake is deep, clean and home to Lake Trout,
Small Mouth Bass, Pike and Perch. The lake is surrounded by a
Provincial Park and Crown Land with sand beaches and rocky shorelines
to explore as well as trails to inland lakes.
Our resort is located 3 miles from the highway, where you will
be accommodated in a private, clean, well equipped cabin.
There is a sand beach, sheltered boat docks, fish cleaning hut,
boat and motor rentals, canoes, a paddleboat, barbeques and laundry
facilities. We have electricity but do not provide radios
or televisions. If nature does not provide all of the entertainment
to fulfill your needs, our recreation hall has Satellite TV and
is loaded with board games, puzzles and books for all ages.
There is also an 8 person hot tub spa, a pool table and ping pong
table. Outdoors, we have swings, tetherball and a horseshoe
pit.
