About Snowshoe Camp Resort
Winter
At Snowshoe Camp Resort, we offer phenomenal ice fishing including Bass, Pike and White fish open all year. Then bring on the New Year, lake trout open January 01. Book early our cabins fill fast! Our resort is the perfect getaway for families, couples, and friends.
Summer
We offer a variety of activities for our guests, including kayaks, canoes, fishing, boating, hiking, and more. See our frequently asked questions for Pontoon rentals and fishing boat rentals.

About Snowshoe Camp Resort

Our resort is located in the heart of the beautiful Algoma and the Mississaugi Valley. Wakomata Lake is surrounded by stunning natural scenery and a variety of outdoor activities. We have record Northern Pike, Bass, Lake Trout and Whitefish. Whether you're looking to relax in the peaceful setting or explore our beautiful lake, our location is perfect for fishing all year round.
Our Accommodations
We offer a range of accommodations to suit your needs. We have cozy and spacious cabins all with wood stoves (hardwood Included) for those chilly nights. Our 6 cabins are all lake front with outdoor fire pits (softwood Included), decks & BBQ's. You can bring your own boat and dock for your stay right on the property. All of our cabins are equipped with modern amenities, full bath, kitchens including utensils & cookware, coffee maker, microwave.
Our Activities
There's always something to do at Snowshoe Camp Resort, whether you're looking to relax on the sand beach, go fishing, or take a hike in nature's playground. We offer a wide range of activities to suit all ages and interests. Our kayaks & canoes are complimentary with your stay. We have amazing access to ATV trails, snowshoe trails, snowmobiling, for the daring secluded lakes for speckle trout fishing. We have a recreation centre for the rainy days with satellite TV, wood stove, pool table, several couches, screened in gazebo with party BBQ. Perfect gathering area with your friends and family.
